At least 19 people died when part of a highway collapsed in southern China's Guangdong province on Wednesday, state media reported.
"The incident caused a total of 18 vehicles to become trapped... and involved 49 people, of whom 19 have been confirmed dead" as of 11:45 am, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
