Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati received French Ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro.
Discussions touched on the preparations for French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné’s visit to Lebanon and the talks he will hold with Premier Mikati on Sunday afternoon.
Discussions also dwelt on the French proposals to address the situation in the south and the presidential dossier.
The Prime Minister later met with Lebanese Central Bank Acting Governor Wissam Mansouri with whom he discussed the country’s monetary situation.
Mansouri briefed the Prime Minister on the outcome of his visit to the United States of America and his talks with officials in the US administration, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.
