Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met with MP Faisal Karami at Ain El-Tineh to discuss legislative and political updates.
Karami highlighted efforts to finalize a fair compensation law for end-of-service benefits under social security, seeking support for over 600,000 affected workers.
The pair also discussed international envoys' visits to Lebanon, and the implementation of UN Resolution 1701, stressing the Lebanese army's role in defense. Karami addressed the Syrian displacement issue, emphasizing the need for a non-sectarian approach for a solution.
On Labor Day, Berri congratulated Lebanon's workers, urging collective efforts to build a stronger, more just nation.
