Caretaker Minister of Education Abbas Halabi announced that they have decided to proceed with the unified Baccalaureate exams for all of Lebanon, but wil take some measures and adjust a few things in order for the exams to be fair for everyone."
He said in a press conference: "We have decided to cancel the "Brevet" exams and rely on school grades, while the Baccalaureate official exams will take place with a program that will take into consideration the students of the south, with optional and mandatory subjects."
He added: "We have decided to cancel the "Brevet" in vocational schools as well."
