British Home Secretary, Amber Rudd, on Monday maintained her government's support for Lebanon's stability, stressing that the security of the two countries is correlated.
"Lebanon's security is that of Britain's," Rudd said following a meeting with Interior Minister, Nouhad Machnouk, with whom she discussed latest regional and international developments.
Rudd arrived last night in Beirut to hold talks with Lebanese officials.
The meeting with Machnouk also focused on Lebanon's efforts to enhance aviation safety and airport security.
Moreover, Rudd heaped praise on the Lebanese security forces' success in preserving security.
