Minister of Finance, Ali Hassan Khalil, on Tuesday launched the 2018 Citizen Budget, a booklet set by the Institut des Finance Basil Fuleihan, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, with the aim of providing a simplified demonstration of the state's freshly-endorsed financial blueprint.
Speaking at the event, Khalil said that "the new government must set efficient frameworks to fight corruption and develop the state's performance."
He also highlighted the necessity of setting new spending regulations and acknowledging the role of the monitoring apparatuses.
Moreover, Khalil maintained that the final report on public auditing would be drafted soon, adding that it includes all facts unreservedly.
