An exceedingly thoughtful homeless man gave his last $20 to a woman for fuel.
Kate McClure thought she was stuck in the middle of Philadelphia without fuel or cash - until homeless man Johnny Bobbitt Jr paid for her petrol using his last $20.
McClure set up a crowd-funding page to raise money for Bobbitt and it went viral. In fact, donations have reached almost $300k.
The tale just got even more heartwarming.
At the time of writing, the money raised is tantalisingly close to the $400k - or roughly £300k - mark.
The money is being put to good use.
As well as a new house, McClure wrote on the GoFundMe page they are buying Bobbit his "dream truck".
They are also setting up trusts to provide a salary, retirement money, and a bank account to help him through until he gets a job.
On top of that, Bobbitt is donating money to organisations that helped him through what was a "rough patch" in his life.
McClure wrote:
"This is a well thought out plan that Johnny, his lawyer, and financial advisor came up with in order to give Johnny the means to acclimate back into a "normal" life and also to protect him and ensure he has a bright future."
She added:
"The next update you receive will be from Johnny himself.
"He finally got his new computer and he is dying to thank all you personally!"
