Member of the Development and Liberation parliamentary bloc, MP Kassem Hashem, tweeted Saturday on the electricity issue, saying: "Because we do not live in a stage of political, economic and financial luxury, it is no longer permissible to bypass commitment to Cabinet decisions and the implementation of laws to address our crises, most prominently the electricity crisis, for we cannot tolerate further procrastination and obstruction... Through this approach and the time wasted, the country has been plunged into increased debts. Today, total clarity is required over the decision taken by the cabinet on electricity plants, and avoiding the language of threats and intimidations, either we resort to commitment and implementation or we mourn the state of institutions..."
