If you think president Donald Trump is bad, you’ll probably think his children are even worse.
Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. used the Christmas holiday season as an excuse to promote his father. Because Jesus is so 2000 years ago.
Donald posted a meme on his Instagram showing his father as the tree topper. He writes:
"Couldn’t decide between an angel or a star. So I picked both."
Trump Jr. captioned his post with the hashtags for "triggered", "Christmas", "christmastree", “star" and "angel".
Unsurprisingly, many users mocked Donald Jr’s post. "Yeah. SOMEBODY wants a pardon for Christmas…” a user wrote, referencing Trump’s involvement in the ongoing legal investigation into his presidential campaign.
Another wrote: “Lol wonder what kind of Christmas trees they have in jail”.
This isn’t the first time the president’s son has caused controversy on Instagram. In September, he was accused of mocking Dr Christine Blasey Ford, who made sexual assault allegations against now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
In August, Trump Jr. posted - and then quickly deleted - a fake graphic comparing his father’s approval rating to that of president Barack Obama.
