A YouTuber attempted to shed light on how homeless people are treated by society by dressing up as one and trying to get a table at a restaurant.
Coby Persin, a 23-year-old vlogger famous for his social experiments and pranks, dressed up in rags and hoisted a black bin bag over his shoulder as he approached a waiter at an unnamed restaurant.
He asked if he could have a table for him and his friend Ronaldo.
The waiter gave him a frosty response:
"I'm sorry. We're not going to be able to do that sir."
Persin tried to give the waiter the benefit of the doubt, and requested a menu.
"No. We can't serve you, we're not going to serve you today. I'm sorry about that."
Persin tries one last time - telling the waiter he can pay, that he has money.
The waiter was unmoved:
"Can you please go away? Go eat at McDonald's - some other options but not here."
The waiter was in for a surprise.
'Ronaldo', Persin's friend, then shows up at the restaurant driving a Rolls Royce with a suitcase full of money.
Persin parted with a warning to the waiter:
"I told you I had money. What's crazy is the way you judged people just by their appearance. I might buy this spot just so I can fire you - you're lucky."
