Head of the Association of Fine Arts Workshop for Culture and Arts, painter Chawki Dalal, announced in a press conference held at the Association's headquarters in Rashaya al-Wadi, on the occasion of the 91st Saudi National Day, the completion of 22 paintings dedicated to the Kingdom, entitled "Colors of Saudi Arabia by Lebanon’s Brush".
“Today I have the honor to announce the completion of 22 watercolor paintings about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and on the occasion of the Saudi National Day, an achievement I worked on for three years,” Dalal said during his press conference.
He added: “I gave the project the title, ‘Colors of Saudi Arabia with the Paint Brush of Lebanon’, whereby the completed paintings portray all the Kingdom's religious, tourist, economic, cultural, social and historical landmarks.”
“On this day, and marking the occasion of the Saudi National Day, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, and the Saudi leadership and its brotherly people, where I present this artistic compilation that takes place for the first time between two brotherly Arab countries,” Dalal went on.
“These paintings are a tribute and appreciation to Saudi Arabia for its favors and aid to Lebanon and the Lebanese,” the painter asserted, hoping to hold an exhibition for his paintings in the Kingdom and for the paintings to be placed in a museum, constituting “a document of historical devotion for the coming generations from Lebanon to Saudi Arabia.”
