Tehran - Iran's Carrier, Asman, has retreated from its previously-announced toll of 66 people dead in a passenger plane crash in a mountainous area in southwestern Iran on Sunday.
The Iranian Airline said that the plane has not been found so far.
"Due to the special conditions of the area, we are still unable to reach the exact location of the crash, so we cannot confirm the exact and unequivocal death of all the passengers," Asman spokesperson Mohammad al-Tabtabai told ISNA news agency.
