Pope Francis received at the Vatican this Wednesday the president of the Knights of Malta Association in Lebanon, Marwan Sahnawi, who briefed him on the organization's activities in Lebanon and its services to the poor, the sick, the elderly, the disabled and the refugees.
The Association's media office pointed out that "Sahnawi explained during the special meeting that the activities and services include all Lebanese regions and all sects, and aim to serve people and their dignity within the framework of respect for diversity and differences."
Sahnawi called on Pope Francis to visit Lebanon "to bless its holy land, for it is in dire need for such blessing."
