Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri held talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region and ways to bolster bilateral relations in various fields, especially at the level of economy and trade.
The talks were attended by caretaker minister Ghattas Khoury and the Lebanese ambassador to Germany Mustafa Adib, as well as the German ambassador to Lebanon Martin Huth and advisors Nadim A-Munla and Hani Hammoud.
In the wake of the Grand Serail meeting, Chancellor Merkel inked the register of honor, and then stepped out with PM Hariri to the balcony of the Serail, where he briefed her on the landmarks of the capital.
Hariri is currently hosting a dinner in honor of Chancellor Merkel attended by members of the Lebanese and German delegations.
