How Ali Eid escaped to Syria?

Security sources told al-Hayat daily that Arab Democratic Party leader former MP Ali Eid left his residence in Akkar to the Syrian lands, using a small boat which transferred him from the Lebanese bank of the Grand River to the Syrian side.

The sources pointed out that the state's top officials had been informed by security apparatuses leaders that Ali Eid had escaped despite the arrest warrant in absentia issued against him.
