Sit-ins and protests continued at Al-Nour Square in Tripoli throughout Sunday afternoon, as popular delegations flocked to the Square from various Lebanese regions, raising Lebanese flags and banners calling on all officials to leave, and chanting the known slogans of the popular movement and uprising, NNA correspondent reported.

Delivered speeches by several activists focused on the country’s dire situation, holding the ruling class "responsible for the financial, economic and daily-living collapse, and the rise in the exchange rate of the dollar," stressing that "this political class is not qualified to restore economic growth, fight corruption and prosecute the corrupt."

Protesters also indicated in their words that they have come to Tripoli “to show solidarity with its people and stand by them,” noting that “Tripoli shall remain the bride of the revolution, and the city of knowledge and scholars, the city of coexistence, the city of peace, love and freedom, and the city of faith and piety.”
