The Future Movement issued the following statement: “The assassination of the researcher and political activist Lokman Slim in a village in the south is a crime condemned by the state and local forces concerned with the security of southern villages.

We, the Future Movement, condemn in the strongest terms this heinous crime, and warn of the dangers of returning to the series of assassinations and targeting activists. We call on the competent security and judicial authorities to work to clarify the truth as soon as possible."
