Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs, Charbel Wehbe, left Beirut on Sunday morning, heading for the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to represent Lebanon in the extraordinary session of the Arab League Council that will be held at the level of foreign ministers tomorrow, Monday.
The Arab League will discuss the Arab solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
On the sidelines of the session, Wehbe will meet with Arab League Secretary General, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, then hold a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss issues of common concern and find ways of support and assistance that Egypt can provide to Lebanon in these difficult circumstances.
