Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri, said after his meeting with President Michel Aoun in Baabda on Friday that efforts were being exerted to save Lebanon and prevent its collapse.
"There is no progress on the government formation file, but I explained to the president the golden opportunity we have," Hariri said.
"The government formation must take place as soon as possible. Each component must now assume its responsibilities," he stressed.
"My position is unchanged: a government of 18 ministers without blocking third parties," Hariri reiterated.
