Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on Monday received at his Ain el-Tineh residence the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Lebanon Head of Office, Fawzi Al-Zioud, who came on a farewell visit, upon the end of his mission in Lebanon.
Al Zioud came in the company of his successor, Matthew Luciano.
On the other hand, Speaker Berri met with a delegation of the World Bank, chaired by Regional Director Saroj Kumar Jha, with whom he discussed the current monetary and economic situation in the country.
Berri also received Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Hacan Chakil, who came on a farewell visit, upon the end of his diplomatic mission in the country.
The pair reportedly discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region and the bilateral relations between the two countries.
