28,275 kg of ammonium nitrate seized at a gas station

The Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued the following statement:

"After being informed about the presence of ammonium nitrate in the town of Arsal, an army force and a patrol of the Intelligence Directorate raided on 04/10/2021 a gas station in the said town, and seized 28,275 kilograms of ammonium nitrate that were stored in bags, on which a note read that they contain 26 percent of nitrogen. Lebanese citizen identified as "H.A.", as well as Syrians identified as "K.M.", "A.A." and "K.G." have been arrested.

The detainees are being interrogated, and a sample of the ammonium nitrate has been sent to a lab to check the percentage of nitrogen."
