Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Tuesday met at the Grand Serail with a delegation from the Association of Banks in Lebanon (ABL) headed by Dr. Salim Sfeir, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Saade Chami, to develop a plan for economic and financial recovery
Premier Mikati also welcomed the Director General of the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait, Dr. Badr Othman Malallah, at the head of a delegation.
On emerging, Malallah said that they discussed with the Premier an array of issues related to the role of the Institute and the possibility of providing developmental services to support the Lebanese economy and the Lebanese government at this sensitive stage.
Later, Mikati received the Ambassador of Switzerland to Lebanon, Marion Weichlet, with discussions reportedly touching on the bilateral relations between the two countries, and the aid provided by Switzerland to Lebanon, being one of the major donors.
Mikati also met with Indian Ambassador to Lebanon, Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan, with whom he discussed the bilateral relations and the means to strengthen economic cooperation.
The Prime Minister also met with the Central Inspection Chief, Judge George Attieh.
