The Lebanese Presidency's Press Office denied what was published on Monday by the Lebanon Debate website. 

"Lebanon Debate published statements attributed to “visitors" of President Michel Aoun about the investigation into the crime of the Beirut port explosion and the role of the judicial investigator, Judge Tarek Bitar.  

"The Press Office asserts that what was published was fabricated and baseless and was never issued by the President of the Republic."
