Maronite Patriarch, Bechara Boutros Rahi, on Friday welcomed in Bkerke the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Joseph Aoun, with whom he discussed the country’s security developments, as well as the situation of the military institution. 

Patriarch Rahi paid tribute to the role of the army and security forces in combating any attempt to destabilize the streets, which could threaten civil peace and the safety of citizens.
