Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, on Friday received in his office Iraqi Ambassador to Lebanon, Haidar Barrak, with talks reportedly touching on the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Minister Mawlawi also received Russian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Rudakov, with whom he discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region in light of the current developments.

Mawlawi then met with former minister Ghassan Atallah over general political issues an developmental and services affairs related to the Chouf district.

Mawlawi also welcomed MP Asssad Dergham, with matters related to Akkar region featuring high on their talks.
