President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, met on Thursday with Prime Minister Najib Mikati at Baabda Palace.

Following the meeting, Mikati said: "I discussed with President Aoun the crisis that Lebanon is going through, and I will be delivering a speech today, during a conference at the Grand Serail."

He added: "I also briefed the President of the Republic on my visit to Glasgow and my social interaction with various Arab and international parties."
