Minister of Finance Youssef Khalil received this Friday the German Ambassador to Lebanon, Andreas Kindl, and an accompanying delegation. Discussions touched on the current situation in Lebanon and the prospects of joint cooperation between the two countries.

Khalil also met with the Ambassador of the European Union Ralph Tarraf and discussed with him the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund and the preparations for the 2022 budget.

Tarraf offered his "support", hoping "that these negotiations will form a solid ground for Lebanon and the Lebanese economy."
