Minister of National Defense, Maurice Sleem, on Tuesday received the Swiss Ambassador to Lebanon, Dr. Marion Weichelt, accompanied by the Embassy’s Military Attaché, with discussions focusing on the general situation and the challenges facing the military institution.

The Minister of Defense valued the existing cooperation between the two countries.

Minister Sleem also received the Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon, Hermano Telles Ribeiro, accompanied by the Military Attaché and the First Secretary at the Embassy.

Discussions touched on joint cooperation and the aid provided by Brazil to Lebanon.
