"There is no link between the resumption of Cabinet sessions and the Beirut blast probe," the press office of Prime Minister Najib Mikati stressed in a statement on Tuesday.

"News claiming that solutions to the political crisis are being prepared on the basis of Bitar in exchange for the Cabinet are circulating. The Prime Minister completely denies such news and maintains that the solution map he has drawn up since day one is the mainstay," the statement read.
