Kataeb leader Samy Gemayel tweeted on Sunday afternoon on the incident during the Order of Dentists’ elections today, saying: “What happened during the Order of Dentists’ elections is shameful and disgraceful…Armed units of Hezbollah from outside the doctors' circle attacked the vote count assistants and destroyed the ballot boxes in a scene that does not bode well for the upcoming parliamentary elections."
