Anti-Narcotics Division thwarts smuggling attempt of Captagon pills to Gulf countries

The Anti-Narcotics Division of General Directorate of Customs in Lebanon issued the following statement on Wednesday:

"We have monitored and arrested a number of people suspected of smuggling Captagon pills to Gulf countries. By investigating a shipment of citrus fruits, we have seized a large quantity of Captagon pills hidden in artificial plastic fruits placed in citrus boxes for camouflage. Investigations are ongoing under the supervision of the judiciary to arrest the rest of those involved.”
