Cancer and chronic diseases’ patients on Friday staged a sit-in along the Baabda Presidential Palace road, called for by Pharmacists Syndicate Dean, Joe Salloum, coinciding with the final Cabinet session to demand funding for the purchase of medicines for cancer and chronic illness.

Head of the General Labor Confederation (GLC), Bechara Asmar, joined the sit-in.
