Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, on Wednesday held a series of ministerial meetings at the Grand Serail.
In this context, Premier Mikati met with Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdallah Bou Habib, with whom he discussed relevant Ministry affairs.
Mikati also met with Caretaker Minister of Industry George Bouchikian, who said that they discussed relevant Ministry affairs and urgent matters in order to set priorities.
Caretaker Premier Mikati later held a meeting with Caretaker Minister Bouchikian and Caretaker Environment Minister Nasser Yassin, over joint files between the two ministries.
On emerging, Minister Yassin said that he briefed the Premier on the Ministry’s solid waste management plan and the undertaken steps, assuring that the Ministry is working for the success of the said plan.
The Caretaker PM also received at the Grand Serail MP Ahmad Khair, who said after the meeting that he discussed with the Premier an array of livelihood and developmental dossiers related to the northern district, especially El-Mineh region.
Mikati also met with Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon, Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Sahlawi.
The PM then received Indian Ambassador to Lebanon, Suhel Ajaz Khan, who came on a farewell visit.
Mikati also had audience with the President of the Economic and Social Council, Charles Arbid, over the current general situation in the country.
Among Premier Mikati’s itinerant visitors for today had been former minister Abdel Rahim Murad.
