It has been two weeks since March 14 general secretary hasn't held any meeting, arising a stream of questions and interpretations among people. This might be due to ongoing discrepancy between March 14 components over the Orthodox Gathering law. However, this disparity hasn't reached a controversial level yet, the camp's members claim, as meetings continue to be held in order to find a common ground.
Commenting on what is being told about under-the-table meetings, the member of March 14 general secretary Nawfal Daou asserted that there is no need for such meetings in the first place, pointing out that the general secretary is not a separate entity, but rather a key part of March 14's organizational components.
In an interview with MTV, Daou stressed that this issue (the Orthodox Gathering law) should not turn into a political dilemma inside the March 14 camp, keeping in mind that the upcoming "battle" aims at fulfilling two main targets: enshrining the State's sovereignty and resolving weapons issue.
