The United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon has expressed Friday his deep concern at the continuing violence in Lebanon and has called on all parties to exercise restraint.
Ban pointed out that he held talks with outgoing PM Najib Mikati over the latest developments, urged all parties to exercise restraint and called on Lebanese people and government institutions to cooperate in order to resolve the disputes.
"I will meet with President Suleiman and PM Mikati this current month either in Kuwait or in Geneva," Ban said.
