Hezbollah has started taking extraordinary security measures in Beirut's southern suburbs (Dahiyeh) in the wake of recent bombings that hit the party's stronghold, the Kuwaiti al-Anbaa newspaper reported.
In this context, several roads leading to the area were closed, limiting, therefore, access to a few others. Moreover, some of Hezbollah officials' offices and residences were moved outside the Dahiyeh.
The newspaper quoted knowledgeable sources as saying that Hezbollah has established three military councils, assuming each a specific task: one is in charge of all issues relating with the fighting in Syria, the second oversees the front with Israel, and the third tackles local Lebanese affairs.
