Exclusive: Who Provided Hariri’s Return-Ticket?

Feedback over Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s return was that the March 8 coalition will push on it far more than it can handle. At least this is what a source close to Hariri assured MTV Website.

The source noted that the visit doesn’t solely revolve around the presidential elections, adding that Hariri’s presence in Lebanon will surely speed up the consensus over a sole candidate but no particular settlement has already been made.

Hariri’s return was linked to the security situation, the Saudi donation granted to the Army, the Sunni street issues as well as the Future Movement’s state in that area.

Regarding Hariri’s remarks against Hezbollah and holding the party responsible for the clashes in Arsal, the source predicted that the Former Prime Minister’s criticism will intensify so as to please the Sunnis at this point.

As for the time of his visit, the sources noted that the extent has yet to be determined, stating that the estimated period will be at least a month.

Hariri left to Saudi Arabia in fear for his life amid the Syrian war expanding towards the Lebanese border. His departure left March 14 weak and its opponents calling for a one-way ticket out of the country.

Here he is today, back, with a billion dollars for the Army and Security Forces, with his return still unclear on many levels.

When it the circumstances of his return do clear up, we might find out who provided him with a home-bound ticket and what the reasons are behind his return.
