The overall environment that is set to overshadow the Cabinet's next Thursday session will be a main indicative of steps to follow, be it in escalations or the adoption of preliminary solutions, MP Walid Khoury said.

In a radio interview, he described the waste crisis as scandalous, seeing little opportunity for companies to resolve the crisis within six months despite a myriad of proposed offers.

Aside from the trash crisis, Khoury reproached the people for not taking action, referring to a large chunk of Lebanese citizens who feel exempted of this reality.

As to status of FPM-Berri relations, Khoury said that the Parliament Speaker recognizes the illegitimacy of the Parliament, and that his party would approve the launching of an exceptional round provided that the Citizenship Recovery Bill is added to the Cabinet’s agenda as agreed upon.
