Fatfat: Cabinet Incapable of Making Any Decision

Despite issues of high urgency that require swift solutions such as trash and electricity, the Cabinet today was incapable of making any decision of consequence due to one particular political stance imposing total obstruction, Future bloc member, MP Ahmad Fatfat reproached.

Following meeting with Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea in Maarab, Fatfat said that the political parties that are enforcing  obstruction on the parliamentary presidential sessions are to be blamed for the prolonged the presidential deadlock.

Asked about the impact of Iran's Foreign Minister Mohamad Javad Zarif' state visit on the presidential crisis, he explained that "despite Zarif's nurturing rhetoric, we have received a clear message from Hezbollah that no issue, including the presidency, will be tackled before a Saudi-Iranian talks can be established, an unfortunate truth given that urgent files are internal affairs and not regional."
