Britain could pay in to certain programmers connected with the European Union after Brexit but the country will take back control of the money currently sent to Brussels, Foreign Minister Boris Johnson said on Sunday.



"I've always thought that there were aspects of EU cooperation ... the Erasmus program for instance, or Horizon funding for research, where actually ... to be part of that in the future might be a good idea, certainly would be a good idea if it involved paying in," Johnson told the BBC's Andrew Marr program.



But Johnson declined to say whether the government had made up its mind on paying into the European Union for access to its single market.
