President Michel Aoun signed on Monday decree #904, dated June 19, 2017, summoning the House of Parliament to a round of extraordinary sessions to be inaugurated on June 21, 2017, and concluded on October 16, 2017.

 

Article II of the decree specified the works agenda of the extraordinary sessions as follows:

 

- Projects of public budgets and their attached budgets referred to the House of Parliament.

- Draft laws referred to the House of Parliament, and which will be referred to it.

- All other bills, proposals, and texts that the Bureau of the Council decides to present to the Council.

 

It is to note that Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, signed the decree and referred it to the President for his signature.
