Father Georges Hobeika, rector of the Kaslik University (USEK), celebrated a Mass on Friday for the soul of Roy Hamouche, the late graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, in the presence of relatives and friends.
Father Hobeika handed Hamouche's parents a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architecture, which the deceased was supposed to receive with his colleagues at the graduation ceremony scheduled for July 13.
The young 24-year-old student was shot dead on the night of June 6 in the Quarantina area, after being chased by a vehicle with two armed men on board.
