Lebanese Central Bank Governor, RiadSalame, assured the Lebanese people that “the country’s pound is stable” during his speech at the opening ceremony of the Seventh Annual Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility held at the Phoenicia Hotel.
"The role of the Banque du Liban is wider than the traditional programs carried out by any central bank," Salame said. "The banking sector bears the credit risk for all housing or production sector's loans."
"Lebanon seeks to keep the interest rates stable," he went on. "We seek to achieve the goal of financial inclusion," the BDL Governor noted.
