This is what the lady who lunches likes to eat.
Business Insider got the menu from Petty Officer Dean Allen, the chef in charge of preparing Queen Elizabeth's lunchtime meal on the HMS Queen Elizabeth.
The Queen is due to visit the Royal Navy's newest aircraft carrier on Thursday, to formally 'commission' the carrier into the Royal Navy.
According to Allen, he and his team submitted multiple menu ideas for consideration to Buckingham Palace.
The choices that came back were:
Starter
Salmon tian with fennel and apple salad.
Main course
Double rib of lamb with bread bean cassoulet and lemon jus.
Dessert
Burnt orange tart with poached meringue and blackberry compote.
