Swedish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jorgen Lindstrom, on Monday toured the town of eastern Zawtar, Nabatieh, at the invitation of its municipal council.
Ambassador Lindstrom's first stop-over had been at the Municipal Council's quarter, where he met with with the Municipality head Dr Wassim Ismail and Council members, as well as with local dignitaries and representatives of associations and clubs.
The Ambassador also met with the Lebanese community members living in Sweden.
The Swedish ambassador accompanied by Ismail visited a number of projects carried out by the municipality, especially the sewage ponds, the public garden and olive farm in Hamra.
