Environment Minister Fadi Jreissati and President of Green Cedar Lebanon inaugurated "The Artists' Forest" in Kfardebian, which includes 1,000 cedar trees, in the presence of a number of MPs, artists and environment activists.
During the opening, Jreissati stressed the importance of preserving the environment and the implementation of the recycling project.
The minister also saluted the artists and highlighted their efforts to improve Lebanon's image to the world.
He concluded that the "Cedar tree has a lot of specifications and doesn't die like Lebanon."
