State Prosecutor, Ghassan Oueidat, on Thursday referred the charges pressed by lawyers, Mohammad Ziad Jaifel and Nadim Koubar, against the Association of Banks in Lebanon and its representatives, to Attorney General, Judge Ghassan Khoury, NNA reporter said.
Consequently, Judge Khoury has set Wednesday, December 11, 2019, a session to probe the pressed charges in a bid to take appropriate legal action.
The charges have been pressed against the backdrop of a statement issued by the Association of Banks containing a list of temporary banking measures taken by banks in light of the current conditions being witnessed in Lebanon, NNA reporter added.
