Plastic boobs that allow dads to breastfeed their children have been unveiled at a US tech show.
The wearable fake bust hooks over your t-shirt and fires out warm milk via a complex labyrinth of tubes.
It even helps send kids who use it to sleep, according to engineers at Japanese tech company Dentsu.
They showcased the device this week at the annual South By Southwest (SXSW) Festival Tradeshow in Austin, Texas.
Dubbed Father's Nursing Assistant, the boobs were built based on advice from paediatricians and babysitters.
According to Dentsu, the gadget - which looks just like the comedy breasts worn by Robert De Niro in 2004's Meet the Fockers - strengthens the bond between a dad and his infant.
"Much of the parental stress and difficulties surrounding child rearing are related to feeding and sleeping," a spokesperson said.
"Generally the rate of participation by fathers tends to be low.
"Focusing on breastfeeding, we aim to decrease the amount of burden on mothers and increase the amount of time infants sleep by enabling fathers to breastfeed."
Baby's are soothed when they touch the breasts with their hands while feeding, helping them calm down and fall asleep.
That feeling is vital to the close bond a mother forms with her child.
Dentsu says its device helps replicate that closeness between a dad and his child.
Father's Nursing Assistant is shaped like a real pair of breasts, and is made of a plastic that resembles the feel of human skin.
The gizmo has a tank for milk loaded into one boob and a breastfeeding system in the other.
It vibrates when it senses the infant is feeding and sleeping, and logs this data in an app.
According to Dentsu, this app can give parents a better understanding of their child's health.
The firm says it wants to help fathers bring up their children with the device.
"The product has been shaped to resemble a woman's breasts," a spokesperson said.
"As a result, a father can hold his baby in both of his arms, creating a deeper skin ship between them and enabling the baby to sleep peacefully in his father's arms."
It is not clear when Dentsu will release the device, or how much it will cost.
