The Churches of the Holy Land expressed solidarity with Sri Lanka on Sunday, in wake of a series of attacks that targeted churches and hotels in conjunction with Easter celebrations, killing at least 207 people and injuring 450.
"We express our solidarity with Sri Lanka and all its people from all walks of life, and pray for the victims' souls and the speedy recovery of the injured...and we ask God Almighty to inspire terrorists to repent their acts of murder and intimidation," said a statement from the Jerusalem Churches.
