The Jeremy Kyle Show has been suspended indefinitely after a guest died shortly after filming an episode.
ITV said they would not screen the episode which featured the individual who died a week after the recording.
"Everyone at ITV and The Jeremy Kyle Show is shocked and saddened at the news of the death of a participant in the show a week after the recording of the episode they featured in and our thoughts are with their family and friends," a spokesperson for the broadcaster said. "ITV will not screen the episode in which they featured."
This morning's edition of the programme, which was due to be aired at 9.30am, was replaced at short notice with an episode of Dickinson's Real Deal.
The Jeremy Kyle Show has been broadcast on ITV since 4 July 2005, having first appeared as a replacement for Trisha Goddard's chat show.
The tabloid talk show is based around guests attempting to resolve their issues with each other, with topics often related to extramarital affairs, addiction, and familial conflicts.
